<p>Our trusted client is looking for an experienced Controller Consultant to join our team for a long-term engagement. This role requires a strong background in non-profit accounting and financial management to oversee key operations such as budgeting, audits, and grant compliance. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing financial processes, ensuring regulatory adherence, and driving efficiency.</p><p><br></p><p>The day-to-day responsibilities include: </p><p><br></p><p>• Direct and manage monthly financial close procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting.</p><p>• Prepare and consolidate financial statements for both internal and external stakeholders.</p><p>• Lead budgeting activities, including forecasting and financial planning, to support organizational goals.</p><p>• Oversee and coordinate audit processes to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.</p><p>• Supervise grant accounting operations, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to funding requirements.</p><p>• Maintain compliance with non-profit accounting principles and guidelines.</p><p>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance accounting workflows and improve operational efficiency.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate will have the following skill set: </p><p><br></p><p>• Minimum of 5 years of experience in budgeting, consolidations, and month-end close processes.</p><p>• Proven expertise in managing audits and grant accounting within a non-profit environment.</p><p>• Strong understanding of non-profit accounting standards and principles.</p><p>• Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and work with stakeholders.</p><p>• Bachelor&#39;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.</p><p>• Proficiency in financial planning and reporting tools.</p><p>• Ability to streamline processes for improved accuracy and efficiency.</p>
