This position offers the opportunity to oversee critical accounting functions and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and demonstrate exceptional organizational and analytical skills. The day-to-day responsibilities include: • Manage month-end close procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.• Prepare and review journal entries to maintain accurate accounting records.• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.• Oversee accounting operations, including budgeting and financial forecasting.• Ensure compliance with sales tax regulations and manage related filings.• Develop and implement efficient accounting policies and procedures.• Provide financial insights and reports to support strategic decision-making.• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes.• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of financial records and transactions.• Support audits and address inquiries from external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have the following skill set: • A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.• Proven expertise in handling month-end close processes and journal entries.• Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and financial statement preparation.• Familiarity with sales tax regulations and compliance.• Demonstrated ability to manage accounting operations effectively.• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
