<p><strong>About the Opportunity</strong></p><p>Our client is a growing cybersecurity consulting and managed services organization seeking a well-rounded IT and security professional who can operate across infrastructure, networking, cloud, security, and compliance environments.</p><p>This is not a traditional SOC Analyst role. Instead, we&#39;re seeking someone with a strong systems or networking background who understands how IT environments function as a whole and can apply security best practices across multiple client environments. The ideal candidate thrives in MSP-like environments, enjoys variety in their day-to-day work, and can effectively manage competing priorities.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Manage and support client security environments across network, infrastructure, cloud, and endpoint technologies</li><li>Administer and maintain firewall, network security, and access control solutions</li><li>Conduct security assessments and assist with remediation planning</li><li>Support disaster recovery, backup validation, and incident response planning initiatives</li><li>Monitor and validate backup systems and recovery processes</li><li>Assist with vulnerability management and security hardening efforts</li><li>Participate in client onboarding activities, including occasional onsite security evaluations</li><li>Support compliance initiatives including CMMC and broader GRC programs</li><li>Work alongside engineering teams to support and enhance client security operations</li><li>Help clients strengthen identity and access management programs</li><li>Participate in security reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts</li><li>Stay current on emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Network Security</strong></p><ul><li>Firewall administration (WatchGuard preferred)</li><li>Experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Check Point, or similar technologies</li><li>Network segmentation and security best practices</li><li>VPN and remote access technologies</li></ul><p><strong>Identity &amp; Access Management</strong></p><ul><li>Cisco Duo</li><li>Okta</li><li>Microsoft Authenticator</li><li>Multi-factor authentication solutions</li></ul><p><strong>Cloud Technologies</strong></p><ul><li>Azure and/or AWS administration</li><li>Experience deploying or managing cloud workloads</li><li>Knowledge of cloud security best practices</li><li>Hybrid infrastructure environments</li></ul><p><strong>Security Tools &amp; Platforms</strong></p><ul><li>Endpoint security platforms</li><li>Check Point Harmony</li><li>Barracuda Solutions</li><li>KnowBe4</li><li>Vulnerability management tools</li><li>Backup and recovery solutions such as Commvault and Barracuda</li></ul><p><strong>Compliance &amp; Security Frameworks</strong></p><ul><li>CMMC</li><li>GRC programs</li><li>Security controls and risk management</li><li>Physical and administrative security controls</li><li>Security assessments and audit support</li></ul><p><br></p>
