We are looking for a skilled Mid-Level Developer to join our CAD Team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will contribute to the development of software solutions that support design-facing applications for housing construction, specifically focusing on truss layouts. This is a long-term contract position that requires expertise in both software development and CAD-related technologies.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Design and develop software solutions using C++, C#, and the .NET Framework to support CAD applications.<br>• Collaborate with the team to create design-facing tools for housing construction, with a focus on truss layouts.<br>• Write and maintain code for on-premises and cloud hybrid environments.<br>• Conduct unit testing to ensure the reliability and functionality of developed software.<br>• Adapt software development skills to work with CAD systems such as IntelliCAD, AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.<br>• Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.<br>• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to improve performance and usability.<br>• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.<br>• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to CAD and software development.<br>• Provide documentation and technical support for developed solutions.

• Proficiency in C++, C#, and the .NET Framework.<br>• Experience with CAD systems such as IntelliCAD, AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.<br>• Knowledge of hybrid on-premises/cloud ecosystems.<br>• Strong understanding of software development principles and abstraction.<br>• Familiarity with unit testing practices and methodologies.<br>• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.<br>• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.<br>• Background in civil engineering is a plus but not required.
