2nd shift Receptionist
<p>We are looking for a dependable 2nd shift Receptionist to support the front desk operations of a nonprofit residential setting in Cincinnati, Ohio. This Contract position serves as a key point of contact for residents, guests, staff, and community partners while helping maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate brings strong reception skills, sound judgment, and the ability to respond calmly and effectively in routine and urgent situations.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Greet residents, visitors, and employees in a courteous manner and create a positive first impression at the front desk.</p><p>• Guide guests to the correct destination and notify appropriate staff when someone has arrived for a meeting or visit.</p><p>• Observe and track building entry and exit activity, escalating concerns to program leadership when situations appear unusual or unsafe.</p><p>• Coordinate promptly with emergency responders, including fire and police personnel, when urgent situations arise.</p><p>• Provide support during evacuations, drills, and other safety-related procedures to help protect residents and staff.</p><p>• Complete assigned administrative tasks such as basic clerical support, record updates, and front desk documentation.</p><p>• Respond to questions about residency services by following established guidelines and directing inquiries appropriately.</p>
<p>• Prior experience in receptionist, front desk, or administrative support work is required.</p><p>• Comfortable monitoring facility access and supporting a secure environment.</p><p>• Basic clerical and organizational skills, including the ability to manage routine documentation.</p><p>• Employment is contingent upon completion of pre-employment screening before starting work.</p><p>• Must provide proof of a recent screening required for all candidates.</p><p>• Experience in healthcare administration or a nonprofit service environment is preferred</p>
