We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to support shipment visibility, delivery coordination, and issue resolution for a high-volume transportation operation in Carlsbad, California. This Long-term Contract position requires someone who can keep shipments moving efficiently, communicate clearly with internal and external partners, and maintain accurate transportation records. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven logistics environment. Responsibilities: • Oversee shipments in transit and share timely status updates to ensure stakeholders remain informed at every stage of movement. • Follow freight activity across various transportation partners and confirm progress from origin through final delivery. • Arrange last-mile delivery schedules and work closely with recipients and service providers to support successful execution. • Maintain proactive communication with customers, consignees, agents, drivers, and carriers to address questions and coordinate next steps. • Recognize service risks early, escalate concerns to the appropriate teams, and support corrective action before commitments are impacted. • Record shipment milestones, update tracking details, and preserve complete documentation for each load. • Review delays, exceptions, damage reports, and delivery issues to identify causes and help drive timely resolution. • Coordinate recovery efforts when disruptions occur to minimize service interruptions and protect delivery expectations. • Confirm proof of delivery and verify that all completion requirements have been satisfied before closing out shipments.

• Experience supporting logistics, transportation, distribution, or shipping operations in a fast-paced setting.• Ability to coordinate shipment activity across multiple carriers and maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, drivers, agents, and transportation partners.• Proven problem-solving ability when handling delays, service exceptions, damages, or delivery-related concerns.• Working knowledge of shipment documentation, tracking processes, and proof-of-delivery verification.• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several priorities at once with close attention to detail.• Familiarity with logistics coordination, shipping functions, and transportation service workflows.• Schedule is 5:00am to 1:30pm
