<p><strong>Keep Trucks, Materials, and Projects Moving in the Right Direction</strong></p><p>Our client is a busy construction materials company in Oceanside that is hiring a <strong>Transportation Coordinator</strong> to support daily deliveries throughout San Diego County. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment and enjoys coordinating drivers, customers, vendors, and internal operations.</p><p>You&#39;ll be at the center of the action, making sure materials arrive when they&#39;re needed and helping the team quickly resolve scheduling or delivery issues. Construction, logistics, dispatch, or transportation experience will all translate well into this position.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate daily delivery schedules for drivers and customers</li><li>Schedule pickups and deliveries based on project timelines</li><li>Communicate delivery times and updates to customers</li><li>Monitor driver routes and shipment progress</li><li>Adjust schedules when delays, traffic, or last-minute changes occur</li><li>Maintain delivery tickets, bills of lading, and transportation records</li><li>Coordinate with warehouse and yard personnel regarding material availability</li><li>Enter orders and delivery information into internal systems</li><li>Communicate with drivers throughout the day regarding route changes</li><li>Investigate delivery discrepancies and customer concerns</li><li>Prepare daily transportation reports</li><li>Assist Operations leadership with scheduling and process improvement</li></ul><p><br></p>

<ul><li>2+ years of transportation, dispatch, logistics, construction, or operations experience</li><li>Strong communication and multitasking skills</li><li>Ability to remain calm and organized when schedules change</li><li>Comfortable communicating with drivers, customers, and vendors</li><li>Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office</li><li>Experience with dispatch, routing, ERP, or transportation software preferred</li><li>Construction or building materials experience is a plus</li></ul><p><br></p>
