<p>Patricia Wesson with Robert Half is searching for an experienced Controller to lead both the strategic and day-to-day accounting function for our clients team. This position is ideal for a technically strong accounting leader who enjoys staying close to the work while guiding financial oversight, process improvement, and reporting accuracy. The role combines ownership of core accounting operations with responsibility for forecasting, compliance, and system effectiveness. Success in this position will come from balancing detailed execution with sound financial leadership in a dynamic operating environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Dynamics 365 - Preferably Business Central<strong> </strong></li><li>CPA/CMA<strong> </strong> </li><li>Strong AP experience along with month-end close, reconciliations, ledger cleanup, and the day-to-day accounting work.</li><li>Financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, tax compliance, and the other higher-level Controller responsibilities.</li><li>Someone who can support the accounting staff but is also comfortable being in the details themselves. </li><li>Someone who can dig into accounting or system issues, figure out what is going on, and fix them.</li><li>Multi-year inventory and field service project costing</li><li>Someone who is very comfortable working in the system and figuring out the system.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Please reach out to Patricia Wesson with Robert Half to review this position. <p>• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.</p><p>• Active CPA or CMA credential is required.</p><p>• Recent work in a hands-on leadership role such as Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or Controller.</p><p>• Demonstrated ability to manage month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and cash flow forecasting.</p><p>• Experience with tax compliance responsibilities, including state and local filing requirements.</p><p>• Background supporting inventory-focused operations, project-based environments, or both, such as agriculture, manufacturing, construction, or field services.</p><p>• Strong attention to detail with the ability to move comfortably between transactional accounting tasks and broader financial analysis.</p>
