Procurement Specialist
We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support a high-volume purchasing environment in Burbank, California. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple procurement requests while maintaining accuracy and timely follow-through. The person in this role will help keep purchasing activities moving efficiently by reviewing requests, validating pricing, and coordinating purchase order documentation in a fast-paced onsite setting.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Review incoming requisitions for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with purchasing guidelines before processing.<br>• Evaluate supplier quotations and compare pricing or terms to support informed purchasing decisions.<br>• Prepare and route purchase order documentation for approval, ensuring all required signatures are obtained in a timely manner.<br>• Process purchase orders and updates efficiently while maintaining accurate records across procurement activities.<br>• Handle change requests related to purchasing documents and adjust order details as business needs evolve.<br>• Coordinate with internal departments to clarify purchasing needs and help move urgent requests through the approval process.<br>• Support administrative procurement tasks that contribute to smooth daily operations within the corporate purchasing function.<br>• Assist with compliance-related onboarding steps required for onsite access and role readiness.
• At least 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing support, or a related administrative function.<br>• Working knowledge of corporate procurement practices, purchase order workflows, and standard buying procedures.<br>• Ability to review requisitions, quotes, and supporting documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.<br>• Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to manage a heavy volume of requests.<br>• Experience coordinating approvals and maintaining documentation in a structured business environment.<br>• Effective communication skills for working with vendors and internal stakeholders across multiple departments.<br>• Comfort working onsite Monday through Friday in Burbank, California.<br>• Familiarity with contract-related purchasing activities or vendor terms review is preferred.
