Permit Coordinator
<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented Permit Coordinator to manage the preparation, submission, tracking, and follow-up of permits, licenses, and related documentation for projects and operations for a construction company in Boca Raton, Florida. This role serves as a key liaison between internal teams, clients, contractors, and local/state regulatory agencies to help ensure permit applications are completed accurately and processed in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates effectively, and can manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare, review, and submit permit applications and supporting documentation.</li><li>Track permit status and maintain accurate records of submissions, approvals, renewals, and expirations.</li><li>Coordinate with project managers, contractors, engineers, vendors, and government agencies to obtain required information.</li><li>Research permitting requirements, zoning regulations, and agency procedures.</li><li>Monitor project timelines to ensure permits are secured before work begins.</li><li>Respond to agency comments, requests for revisions, and compliance-related questions.</li><li>Maintain databases, logs, and filing systems for permits and regulatory documentation.</li><li>Schedule inspections and coordinate follow-up actions as needed.</li><li>Communicate updates on permit status, risks, delays, and deadlines to stakeholders.</li><li>Help ensure all activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company procedures.</li></ul><p><br></p>
<ul><li>Experience working with city, county, or state permitting agencies.</li><li>Familiarity with construction, utility, telecommunications, engineering, or real estate environments.</li><li>Problem-solving skills and the ability to follow up persistently and professionally.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and record-tracking systems or project management software.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with strong attention to detail.</li></ul><p><br></p>
