Executive Assistant
We are looking for an organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support leadership within the Department of Finance, Bureau of Risk Management in Baltimore, Maryland. This Long-term Contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to daily executive operations, manage administrative priorities, and help maintain efficient coordination across business activities. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively with tools such as SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel in a fast-paced environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Provide direct administrative support to executive leadership, including calendar oversight, meeting coordination, and follow-up on key action items.<br>• Prepare clear presentations, reports, and business documents using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and related office applications.<br>• Maintain and organize records, files, and shared documentation within Microsoft SharePoint to support easy access and version control.<br>• Track assignments, correspondence, and operational tasks to help ensure deadlines and priorities are managed effectively.<br>• Assist with developing forms, templates, and manual processes that improve administrative consistency and workflow execution.<br>• Support communication between leadership and internal stakeholders by handling scheduling requests, meeting materials, and routine updates.<br>• Monitor documentation tied to compliance and risk-related activities, helping leadership stay informed and organized.<br>• Contribute to office efficiency by identifying administrative process improvements and supporting implementation where needed.
• At least 1 year of experience in an executive assistant, administrative support, or closely related role.<br>• Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint, including maintaining shared content and organized document libraries.<br>• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas for reporting or tracking purposes.<br>• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy, discretion, and strong attention to detail.<br>• Experience creating administrative documentation, forms, or procedural materials.<br>• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across teams.<br>• Familiarity with compliance risk or regulated business environments is preferred.<br>• Demonstrated ability to work independently while providing dependable support to senior leadership.
