Paralegal
We are looking for a dedicated Paralegal to join our estate planning and elder law firm in Annapolis, Maryland. As part of our team, you will play an integral role in providing exceptional legal services to our clients while fostering strong relationships. This position offers the opportunity to grow professionally, collaborate with a supportive team, and contribute to the firm’s mission of delivering high-quality legal support.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Draft and review estate planning documents, probate petitions, and estate accountings with precision and attention to detail.<br>• Conduct research and gather assets to provide comprehensive legal support to clients.<br>• Prepare and manage correspondence with clients, financial institutions, courts, and other parties, ensuring deadlines are met.<br>• Meet and communicate with clients and professionals to ensure a seamless and positive client experience.<br>• Participate actively in team meetings, providing input on client cases and firm operations.<br>• Assist with client intake and scheduling to maintain efficient workflows.<br>• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold the firm’s high standards of legal service and advocacy.<br>• Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with legal procedures and regulations.
• Proven experience as a paralegal, with a focus on estate planning and elder law.<br>• Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including estate planning and probate-related materials.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.<br>• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions requiring precision and accuracy.<br>• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.<br>• Knowledge of estate law and related legal procedures.<br>• Proficiency in legal research and asset gathering.<br>• A positive attitude and eagerness to contribute to the firm’s success.
