<p>We are looking for an experienced accounting leader to guide financial operations and reporting for a stable and growing organization. This role combines strategic oversight with day-to-day execution, making it ideal for someone who enjoys staying close to the details working directly with ownership while driving objectives and a successful small team.</p><p><br></p><p>The ideal candidate has 5 years of leadership experience and comes from the Travel industry or a Service-Industry field with a hands-on approach and strong communication skills in English & Spanish to work effectively with both executive leadership and multilingual staff.</p><p><br></p><p>Location: Miami Beach</p><p>Schedule: Mon - Fri; In-office</p><p><br></p><p>Salary: $120,000-$130,000 (with some stretch to $140,000)</p><p>Bonus: around 10% min , generous ownership</p><p>Benefits: generous percentage of medical paid, other insurances, vacation paid, standard holidays, 401k and other perks </p><p><br></p><p>Keys to this role:</p><ul><li>Travel industry or Services industry</li><li>CPA Highly preferred</li><li>Bachelors of Accounting or Finance</li><li>Bilingual in English and Spanish</li></ul><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Lead the full accounting cycle, ensuring accurate recording of financial activity and timely completion of all core accounting functions.</p><p>• Direct the month-end close process and prepare complete financial statements and management reports for leadership review.</p><p>• Oversee accounts payable and billing operations, maintaining accuracy, consistency, and strong internal controls across both areas.</p><p>• Manage financial reporting activities, ensuring results are clearly presented and aligned with company objectives and compliance standards.</p><p>• Support internal audit readiness and strengthen accounting policies and procedures to promote regulatory and operational compliance.</p><p>• Act as a hands-on leader by personally contributing to key accounting tasks while mentoring and developing the accounting team.</p><p>• Partner closely with senior leadership and other stakeholders to provide financial insight, communicate results, and support sound business decisions.</p><p>• Apply industry knowledge to revenue-focused accounting environments, particularly within travel or other service-based businesses where customer service delivery drives revenue recognition and allocation.</p>
