Office Coordinator
<p>We are looking for a part-time Office Coordinator to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia. As part of this contract role, you will play a key part in maintaining office operations and supporting various administrative functions. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Act as the primary contact for building security and property management teams, coordinating visits and addressing service needs.</p><p>• Manage vendor relationships, including couriers, alarm monitoring services, cleaners, and waste removal providers.</p><p>• Address building or office-related issues such as electrical, plumbing, or equipment problems, conducting vendor research when necessary.</p><p>• Maintain and update user access to ensure building security protocols are followed.</p><p>• Organize and coordinate team meetings and events, including booking venues, arranging catering, and overseeing setup.</p><p>• Ensure office spaces, kitchens, and meeting rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.</p><p>• Purchase and replenish office supplies, equipment, and refreshments as required.</p><p>• Prepare workstations and meeting rooms with the necessary technology and equipment.</p><p>• Assist with planning and executing office moves or workspace adjustments.</p><p>• Greet visitors, manage incoming and outgoing shipments, and provide reception support.</p>
• Proven experience in office coordination or administrative roles.<br>• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with vendors, teams, and visitors effectively.<br>• Proficiency in answering inbound calls and managing schedules.<br>• Skilled in office functions such as photocopying, scanning documents, and data entry.<br>• Ability to organize and schedule meetings efficiently.<br>• Familiarity with building management processes and security protocols.<br>• Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Knowledge of fire safety and first aid procedures is an asset.
