Sr. Auditor
We are looking for an experienced Senior Auditor to join our team on a contract basis in Toronto, Ontario. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in audit methodologies, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance frameworks, particularly within the real estate lending sector. You will play a key role in implementing and improving quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance, and driving reporting enhancements.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Develop and refine quality assurance frameworks to support frontline adjudication functions.<br>• Conduct comprehensive audits and testing to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including B20 requirements.<br>• Prepare detailed documentation and reports that highlight findings and provide actionable recommendations.<br>• Implement remediation strategies to address identified defects and improve operational processes.<br>• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance credit quality reporting and monitoring systems.<br>• Assess and improve branch processes related to origination, credit adjudication, and collections.<br>• Provide expertise in business line monitoring and reporting for adjudication functions.<br>• Support the development of methodologies for Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs).<br>• Lead efforts to enhance QA reporting and monitoring to ensure alignment with organizational goals.<br>• Maintain a proactive approach to escalating issues and driving solutions.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in auditing, real estate secured lending, or a related field.<br>• Proven expertise in audit methodologies, testing, and regulatory compliance.<br>• Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills.<br>• Experience with quality assurance frameworks and remediation processes.<br>• Familiarity with B20 requirements and compliance testing.<br>• Knowledge of credit quality reporting, monitoring, and adjudication processes.<br>• Broad understanding of branch operations, including origination, adjudication, and collections.<br>• Ability to work independently, proactively identify issues, and escalate them effectively.
