As <strong>Accounting Manager</strong>, you’ll oversee day-to-day accounting operations, reporting, and consolidations across multiple entities. Working closely with senior finance leadership, you’ll gain exposure to cross-border reporting, corporate governance, and process improvement initiatives within a sophisticated, multinational setting.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee full-cycle accounting and month-end close processes for several Canadian entities.</li><li>Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.</li><li>Assist in the preparation and consolidation of financial statements and management reports.</li><li>Review and mentor accounting staff, providing technical guidance and oversight.</li><li>Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.</li><li>Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and applicable standards (ASPE or IFRS).</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements and strengthen internal controls.</li><li>Collaborate with operations and finance teams on budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc projects.</li><li>Contribute to new investment analyses, acquisitions, and integration initiatives as needed.</li></ul>
