We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract in Mississauga, Ontario. In this role, you will prepare accurate financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and assist with month-end reporting. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to core financial operations while collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders. 📅 Contract Term: 20 months, with an immediate start 📍 Location: 5 days on-site in the Pearson Airport area Responsibilities:• Contribute to the timely and accurate completion of the monthly financial close process.• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring the assembly of supporting documentation meets compliance standards.• Record journal entries based on provided instructions while maintaining accuracy and integrity.• Perform account reconciliations, schedules, and trial balance reviews to support month-end reporting.• Ensure adherence to accounting policies, legislation, and regulations, including statutory and group requirements.• Maintain customer master records and oversee payment processing tasks.• Prepare and file returns in compliance with tax laws and regulations.• Collaborate with team members to build strong working relationships and ensure seamless financial operations.• Assist in the preparation of reports and financial information for external stakeholders, including auditors and tax officials.• Generate disposal invoices for asset sales as required.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, demonstrating attention to detail. • In the process of obtaining a recognized accounting designation (e.g., CPA or equivalent). • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. • Strong analytical and organizational skills with great attention to detail. • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively. • Self-motivated and resourceful, with the ability to access and utilize information from various systems. • Previous experience working within an international company or a Big 4 firm is considered an asset. • French language skills are an asset, though not mandatory.
