We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager Property Accounting to join our client's company - real estate investment firm - in Mississauga, Ontario, for a 2 months contract position. In this role, you will oversee property accounting operations for commercial properties and work closely with the team to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. This position requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to implement process improvements effectively. This is an on-site opportunity, however client is flexible. Location: Mississauga, ON.Starting with 2 months contract. Responsibilities:• Manage property accounting functions for commercial properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.• Utilize Yardi software to oversee property management accounting processes, specifically month-end close.• Perform detailed reviews of accounts payable and receivable transactions.• Handle recovery calculations and ensure proper reconciliation processes are followed.• Implement and drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve challenges and maintain effective communication.• Provide financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making.• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all accounting tasks.• Work onsite for five days a week to maintain close coordination with the team.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on commercial property management.• Proficiency in Yardi software.• Strong understanding of commercial property accounting and financial operations.• Experience with recovery calculations and reconciliations.• Proven ability to optimize and improve accounting processes.• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.• Familiarity with budget planning and financial analysis.• Ability to work onsite in Toronto, Ontario.
