Logistics Manager
<p>Our client is seeking a Remote Contract to permanent placement Logistics Manager to oversee inventory planning, demand forecasting, purchasing, and distribution operations across Canadian and U.S. warehouses. This role will be responsible for ensuring product availability, managing relationships with freight forwarders and 3PL partners, and optimizing supply chain processes. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical ability with practical logistics experience to manage forecasts, purchase order activity, and freight-related processes. This role is well suited to someone who is highly organized, comfortable working with data in Excel, and confident collaborating with vendors and distribution partners. </p><p> Responsibilities: Manage inventory levels, forecasting, and replenishment planning. Create and track purchase orders, monitor supplier lead times, and coordinate inbound shipments. Work closely with freight forwarders, carriers, distributors, and 3PL providers. Utilize NetSuite to manage inventory, reporting, purchasing, and BOMs. Troubleshoot inventory, integration, and system-related issues. Analyze inventory and sales trends to support business demand.</p>
5+ years of logistics, supply chain, or inventory management experience. Strong NetSuite experience. Expertise in inventory planning, forecasting, and purchasing. Experience managing freight forwarders and 3PL relationships. Knowledge of international shipping (air and ocean freight). • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and forecasting analysis. • Hands-on experience using NetSuite for purchase order processing or related logistics activities. • Ability to interpret supply chain data and use findings to support operational decision-making. • Effective communication skills with the ability to work closely with suppliers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
