<p>Robert Half Management Resources is the worldwide leader in specialized consulting and staffing services for senior-level accounting, finance and business systems professionals. </p><p>Our hi-tech client is looking for a Senior Accountant for a two -month contract. In this role you will perform full cycle accounting activities, prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS standards. </p><p>The Senior Accountant’s duties will include: </p><p>·      Performing journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.</p><p>·      Preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements </p><p>·      Analyzing financial data, interpreting variances, and guiding decision-making </p><p>·      Generate work-in-progress reports </p><p>·      Assisting in the creation of annual budgets and forecasts </p><p>·      Providing variance analysis for ongoing financial and operational improvements.</p><p>·      Other duties as required</p>

<p>The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:</p><p>·      Post-secondary education in finance, accounting or a related field </p><p>·      A minimum of five years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in the construction, contracting, or service industry.</p><p>·      Proficient understanding of IFRS accounting standards with expertise in revenue recognition</p><p>·      Experience with Netsuite a strong asset</p>
