Sr. Financial Analyst - NPO
<p>We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented <strong>Sr. Financial Analyst - NPO </strong>to join our client's team on a contract basis in North York, Ontario. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering financial insights, preparing reports, and supporting business decision-making processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and planning.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Work model:</strong> 2 days per week in the office at North York area.</p><p><strong>IMMEDIATE START</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and create detailed financial models to support decision-making.</p><p>• Prepare month-end, quarterly, and annual financial reports with a high degree of accuracy.</p><p>• Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to leadership to guide strategic initiatives.</p><p>• Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends and variances.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and oversee the preparation of compliance-related financial reports.</p><p>• Develop and deliver financial presentations and supporting documentation to key stakeholders.</p><p>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and enhance financial planning processes.</p><p>• Utilize business systems, CRM tools, and data mining techniques to streamline reporting and analysis.</p><p>• Perform ad hoc financial analysis as required to address immediate business needs.</p><p>• Support the budget planning and review process to ensure alignment with organizational goals.</p>
<p>• Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and planning within a non-profit (NPO) environment.</p><p>• Proficiency in using business systems, QuickBooks and proficiency in Excel.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of data mining techniques and their application in financial reporting.</p><p>• Demonstrated ability to perform ad hoc financial analysis and provide actionable insights.</p><p>• Familiarity with budgeting processes and the ability to support planning and review activities.</p><p>• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work under deadlines.</p><p>• Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial information to stakeholders.</p><p>• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and experience in preparing related reports.</p>
