We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team on a 3-6 month contract in Toronto, Ontario. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing financial anc cash flow forecasting and analysis for multiple active construction projects. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide key insights to support project success. Responsibilities:• Prepare monthly forecasts and cash flow for ongoing construction projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals.• Analyze and document cost variances, forecast adjustments, and potential risks or savings.• Update and maintain the Construction Dashboard, tracking key metrics such as cost-to-complete and cash flow.• Collaborate with project managers, joint venture partners, and internal stakeholders to gather inputs and maintain data integrity.• Create and present monthly financial performance reports and dashboards for senior management review.• Monitor project cost trends to validate alignment between forecasts and actual expenditures.• Develop and refine standardized templates and reporting tools for both internal and external purposes.• Perform reconciliations between partner records and internal financial data to ensure consistency.• Compile and distribute monthly pre-opening reports, analyzing sales leads and deposit data for active projects.• Work with cross-departmental teams to support construction forecasting and ensure timely data inputs.

• Strong expertise in financial analysis, particularly within project and construction accounting. • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, including functions such as lookups and sumifs (macro skills not required). • Familiarity with creating and updating PowerPoint presentations using existing templates. • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across various projects. • Proven analytical problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying and addressing issues effectively. • Experience preparing financial reports and dashboards for senior management. • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and gather data from diverse sources. • Knowledge of construction finance or project accounting processes is highly preferred.
