Administrative Assistant
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in North Vancouver, British Columbia. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers while providing essential administrative support. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Answer and direct incoming calls with professionalism and efficiency.<br>• Provide exceptional customer service to students, visitors, and other stakeholders.<br>• Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain records accurately.<br>• Manage email correspondence, ensuring timely responses and proper documentation.<br>• Schedule appointments and coordinate calendars for team members.<br>• Handle filing and document organization to ensure easy access to necessary information.<br>• Assist in processing and reconciling checks or other financial records.<br>• Coordinate food orders and supplies as needed for team events or meetings.<br>• Support the preparation and execution of new programs and initiatives.<br>• Collaborate with team members and external providers to ensure smooth operations.
• Proven experience in handling inbound and outbound calls in a detail-oriented environment.<br>• Strong customer service skills with a focus on effective communication.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.<br>• Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records.<br>• Experience in scheduling and calendar management.<br>• Familiarity with filing systems and document organization.<br>• Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.<br>• Previous experience working in a fast-paced office environment.
