<p><strong>Interim Regional Controller</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Mississauga (Airport area), ON</p><p><strong>Work Model:</strong> Hybrid, 2 days onsite (may require flexibility during initial training)</p><p><strong>Duration:</strong> 6-month contract</p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p>Our client is seeking an <strong>Interim Regional Controller</strong> to support its Canadian operations on a 6-month contract. This hands-on role will take ownership of day-to-day controllership activities for the Canadian business. The ideal candidate will bring strong <strong>construction/project accounting</strong> experience and be comfortable stepping into a fast-moving environment with limited ramp-up time.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>·       Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for the Canadian entity and multiple divisions</p><p>·       Lead month-end close and financial reporting</p><p>·       Manage project accounting, including <strong>project</strong> <strong>job costing, WIP, POC, revenue recognition, project billing, margin analysis, and under/over billing</strong></p><p>·       Review project financials and support billing oversight with finance and operations teams</p><p>·       Assist with audit readiness and year-end reporting requirements</p><p>·       Support ongoing ERP or payroll-related process changes</p><p>·       Provide hands-on leadership and pitch in where needed across accounting and finance</p><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>·       Experience as a <strong>Controller, Director of Finance, or senior accounting leader</strong> in a project-based business</p><p>·       Strong background in <strong>construction, industrial services, engineering, or project-based accounting</strong></p><p>·       Deep experience with <strong>project costing, WIP, POC accounting, revenue recognition, and project billing</strong></p><p>·       <strong>CPA preferred</strong>, but comparable experience and education will be considered</p><p>·       Prior audit support, ERP conversion, or finance transformation experience is an asset</p><p>·       Confident, hands-on, self-directed, and comfortable working in an environment that requires flexibility and initiative</p><p><strong>Interested?</strong></p><p>If you bring the right mix of <strong>controllership leadership</strong> and <strong>project/construction accounting</strong> expertise and can quickly add value in an interim capacity, we’d welcome the opportunity to connect.</p><p><br></p>
