<p>We are seeking a <strong>hands-on Controller</strong> to join an established, privately owned organization with a complex, multi-entity operation, and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the finance function.</p><p>This is an ideal opportunity for a CPA who has built a strong foundation in industry and is ready to take ownership of a well-established controllership function — while still having the runway to improve, refine and build on what is already in place.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p><p>Reporting to the Director of Finance , you’ll take ownership of the accounting function and play a key role in strengthening financial processes, reporting, and controls across the organization.</p><p>The business has a strong operational focus, and this role will work closely with Finance, Operations and senior leadership. You’ll have the opportunity to bring perspective from previous environments, identify opportunities to improve how things are done, and contribute to initiatives across budgeting, forecasting, costing, and financial processes.</p><p>This is <strong>not a purely review-level Controller position</strong>. The successful candidate will be comfortable staying close to the numbers, understanding the underlying business and stepping into the details when required.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What We Are Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>CPA designation with progressive industry accounting experience as a finance leader for a multi-entity environment.</li><li>Previous Controller, Assistant Controller or Finance Manager experience with the ability to independently own the accounting function.</li><li>Strong month-end, year-end, financial reporting, and reconciliation experience.</li><li>Experience working with costing, inventory, or another operationally complex accounting environment.</li><li>Strong Excel and systems aptitude; ERP experience is important, with specific platform experience considered an asset.</li><li>A continuous-improvement mindset and the ability to identify practical ways to strengthen processes.</li><li>A collaborative approach to working with operational teams and established stakeholders.</li><li>Someone looking for a <strong>long-term opportunity to build on their controllership experience</strong>, rather than simply using the role as a stepping stone to the next title.</li></ul><p>Manufacturing experience is preferred, but experience in another operational environment with meaningful costing or business complexity will also be considered.</p><p><br></p><p>.</p><p> </p>
