We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing team in New York, New York. The position provides high visibility and the chance to work closely with senior leadership in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage month-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations.<br>• Oversee general ledger activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.<br>• Conduct account reconciliations and bank reconciliations on a regular basis.<br>• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and other team members to streamline accounting procedures.<br>• Utilize Restaurant 365 software to efficiently track and manage financial data.<br>• Support audit processes by preparing required documentation and addressing inquiries.<br>• Contribute to the development and implementation of financial controls to improve operational efficiency.<br>• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership.<br>• Assist with franchise accounting and reporting as the company expands its footprint.<br>• Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives to support organizational growth.
