This is an exciting opportunity for a benefits professional who is ready to take ownership of a function, build strong partnerships, improve processes, and make a meaningful impact on the employee experience.</p><p><br></p><p>The ideal candidate is someone who has developed a strong foundation in benefits and is looking for increased ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to influence how programs are managed and improved. This role will partner closely with HR leadership, vendors, brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure benefits programs are effectively administered, communicated, and aligned with the needs of a growing organization.</p><p><br></p><p>This is an individual contributor role with ownership of the benefits function. As the company continues to scale, they are investing in their HR infrastructure and creating dedicated ownership around benefits and employee experience initiatives.</p><p><br></p><p>The Benefits Manager will oversee the day-to-day administration and ongoing improvement of employee benefit programs while also identifying opportunities to enhance communication, employee engagement, recognition efforts, wellbeing initiatives, and the overall employee experience.</p><p><br></p><p>This position is remote; however, candidates located in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area or Midwest region are preferred. The HR team comes together in person a few times per year for collaboration and team meetings.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Own the administration and ongoing improvement of employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, voluntary benefits, and related programs</li><li>Manage relationships with benefits brokers, vendors, carriers, and external partners to ensure strong service delivery and program effectiveness</li><li>Lead annual open enrollment planning, communication, employee education, system readiness, and execution</li><li>Partner with HR, payroll, and internal teams to ensure accurate eligibility, enrollment, deductions, and employee data</li><li>Conduct benefits audits, reporting, and issue resolution to support accuracy and compliance</li><li>Serve as a resource for employees and leaders by providing clear, accessible benefits information and support</li><li>Translate complex benefits information into employee-friendly communications and resources</li><li>Evaluate current programs and recommend improvements based on employee feedback, utilization, and business needs</li><li>Support employee experience initiatives, including recognition programs, service awards, wellbeing efforts, and other engagement opportunities</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance communication, and create a stronger employee experience as the organization grows</li></ul><p><br></p>
