  • We are looking for a highly skilled Controller to oversee and manage all aspects of financial operations within our organization, based in Danville, California. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail who can ensure compliance with financial regulations, implement best practices, and drive efficiency across accounting and reporting functions. The ideal candidate will be experienced in leading teams, preparing detailed financial reports, and optimizing processes to support organizational goals.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Supervise and manage all financial transaction processes, including accounts receivable, billing, accounts payable, and general ledger activities.<br>• Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow analyses, and capital tracking summaries on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.<br>• Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring timely completion of reconciliations and adherence to established policies.<br>• Design and implement financial controls, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and mitigate risks.<br>• Develop accurate tools and schedules for budgeting, forecasting, and special financial projects.<br>• Provide leadership and direction to a team of accounting professionals, offering coaching and development opportunities to enhance their skills.<br>• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits, ensuring all necessary schedules and documentation are prepared in advance.<br>• Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, business licenses, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.<br>• Maintain organized systems for filing financial and contractual documents, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.<br>• Support the organization’s strategic plans and initiatives by delivering actionable financial insights and recommendations.
