The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts payable operations while demonstrating strong organizational and analytical abilities.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Open, sort, and distribute incoming department mail to ensure timely processing.</p><p>• Organize, log, photocopy, and file invoices, checks, and other financial documents.</p><p>• Verify and prepare checks for mailing, ensuring special handling requests are expedited.</p><p>• Perform 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts to validate transactions.</p><p>• Accurately code invoices and other financial documents in compliance with company policies.</p><p>• Process payments efficiently, including handling purchase orders and expense reports.</p><p>• Utilize accounting software systems to maintain accurate records and streamline workflows.</p><p>• Monitor and audit accounts payable activities to ensure adherence to established procedures.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve payment processes.</p><p>• Manage ACH and other electronic payment methods to ensure timely and secure transactions.</p>
