The role is hybrid, 3 days in their office outside of Boston.</p><p>The Credit Officer plays a critical role in managing credit risk and ensuring the quality of the loan portfolio, with great experience in the C& I space. This includes assessing borrowers' capacity to generate sustainable cash flows through comprehensive analyses of financial, managerial, and industry factors. Core responsibilities involve preparing written credit assessments, conducting due diligence, and reviewing financial statements to inform loan decisions and identify potential risks. Additionally, the Credit Officer supports other bank functions like risk management, regulatory compliance, and loan reviews while collaborating with lending officers to validate loan ratings and maintain credit quality. The position also requires mentoring junior analysts, preparing various credit-related reports, and identifying cross-sell opportunities for bank offerings.
