We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Escrow Officer to oversee and manage the year-end review process for escrow accounts. In this contract position, you will ensure that escrow account balances are accurate and compliant with applicable regulations, focusing on property taxes and insurance premiums. This role requires a strong command of escrow processes, attention to detail, and analytical skills to maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance. The position is based in Waukesha, Wisconsin.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Conduct comprehensive annual reviews of customer escrow accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.<br>• Reconcile property tax and insurance disbursements made from escrow accounts throughout the year.<br>• Analyze and compare total disbursements against the funds collected and held in escrow accounts.<br>• Identify and calculate any shortages or surpluses in escrow accounts and recommend necessary adjustments.<br>• Prepare detailed escrow analysis statements, including reconciliation results, future payment projections, and monthly payment adjustments.<br>• Ensure that all processes adhere to federal and state regulations as well as company policies.<br>• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies found during the analysis, providing detailed reports to management.<br>• Collaborate with team members to maintain accurate and current escrow records.<br>• Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
