This role is integral to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations within the healthcare industry organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a deep understanding of accounting principles to support financial reporting, compliance, and team development.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Prepare and distribute accurate financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and regulatory standards.</p><p>• Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance and payroll processing, to uphold established policies and controls.</p><p>• Oversee the month-end close process by reviewing reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analyses, while coordinating with the FP& A team to align financial entries with budgeted projections.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations by collaborating with the Controller and external advisors to prepare and file accurate tax returns.</p><p>• Approve and review treasury transactions such as bank transfers and wire templates to maintain financial accuracy and security.</p><p>• Lead and mentor the general ledger accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous attention to detail and growth.</p><p>• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.</p><p>• Coordinate with external auditors during financial statement audits to ensure timely and accurate reporting.</p><p>• Maintain and update accounting systems, ensuring proper functionality and integration with financial processes.</p><p><br></p><p>If interested, please send your resume to [email protected]</p>
