The Financial Project Manager will be tasked with to managing and executing the end-to-end cutover activities for our client's system implementation. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems to Oracle by planning, coordinating, and overseeing all tasks and dependencies related to the cutover process.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p>o Develop, manage, and maintain the master cutover plan covering all activities required for a successful go-live. Requires partnership with Implementation Partner.</p><p>o Collaborate with cross-functional teams (functional, technical, and business users) to identify cutover scope, tasks, dependencies, and owners.</p><p>o Define and enforce cutover governance including change control and issue escalation protocols during the cutover window.</p><p>o Lead cutover planning workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions to validate readiness across all workstreams.</p><p>o Coordinate legacy system shutdowns, data extraction, final data loads, and system validation activities.</p><p>o Oversee business continuity and rollback plans to mitigate go-live risks.</p><p>o Ensure required sign-offs and checkpoints are completed prior to initiating cutover.</p><p>o Facilitate dry runs, mock cutovers, and simulation exercises to validate timing, accuracy, and resource availability.</p><p>o Track cutover execution progress in real-time, proactively resolving issues or escalating blockers.</p><p>o Maintain tight coordination with the PMO, Testing Lead, Data Migration Lead, and Change Management team.</p><p>o Ensure key artifacts such as runbooks, checklists, and validation logs are prepared, reviewed, and stored appropriately.</p><p>o Provide detailed status updates to leadership and stakeholders during each phase of cutover and post go-live.</p><p>o Lead post-cutover reviews to capture lessons learned and process improvements for future releases or deployments.</p><p>o Support the transition of ownership from the project team to operations/support during the hypercare phase.</p><p><br></p>
