Position Overview: The Accounting detail oriented – Tariff & Trade Compliance will play a critical role in analyzing the financial impact of tariffs, ensuring compliance with global trade regulations, and providing accurate reporting to guide procurement, sourcing, and pricing decisions. This position requires a mix of accounting expertise, international trade knowledge, and strong analytical skills. Key Responsibilities: Analyze the impact of tariffs, duties, and trade agreements on cost of goods sold (COGS) and overall profitability. Maintain up-to-date records of tariff schedules, customs classifications, and trade regulations. Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to evaluate sourcing options, including nearshoring opportunities. Provide financial models and forecasts reflecting tariff changes and regulatory shifts. Assist with customs documentation, HS codes, and import/export compliance audits. Support month-end and year-end close processes with accurate cost allocation related to tariffs. Prepare reports for leadership and clients summarizing trade compliance status and tariff-related cost implications.
