The role will involve ensuring compliance, and driving efficiency across various financial processes, accounting operations and optimization. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Review the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting.</p><p>• Oversee the general ledger and maintain adherence to accounting standards.</p><p>• Coordinate and support financial statement audits, providing necessary documentation and responses.</p><p>• Perform account reconciliations to ensure consistency and accuracy across financial records.</p><p>• Prepare and review journal entries to maintain the integrity of financial data.</p><p>• Lead initiatives to streamline accounting processes and enhance operational efficiency.</p><p>• Improve accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.</p><p>• Implement process improvements to optimize workflows and reduce redundancies.</p><p>• Utilize activity-based costing methodologies to refine financial analysis and reporting.</p><p>• Work with Viewpoint Vista software to manage and improve financial systems.</p><p>• Other administrative tasks and responsibilites as needed to allow cross training with existing team members</p>
