This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who can keep dispatch operations organized, guide frontline team members, and respond quickly to changing shipping demands. The person in this role will help maintain steady package flow, reinforce safe work practices, and communicate operational issues to leadership as they arise. Shift is from 500am to 130am or 730am to 330pm.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee day-to-day hub activity to keep dispatch, pickups, and route execution on schedule.</p><p>• Provide direction to a team of dispatch staff by assigning work, adjusting coverage, and maintaining workflow across operating waves.</p><p>• Monitor shipment volume and productivity trends, then share key performance updates with management.</p><p>• Support dispatchers with real-time coaching on routing decisions, service exceptions, and issue resolution.</p><p>• Lead safety discussions and reinforce established operational standards throughout the site.</p><p>• Identify concerns related to staffing, equipment, or package volume and elevate them promptly to hub leadership.</p><p>• Assist with onboarding and training for new team members to promote consistent execution and accountability.</p><p>• Maintain an active presence on the floor and in the yard to support operations in a fast-moving environment.</p>

- <p>We are looking for a proactive Logistics Coordinator/Hub Leader to support daily hub operations in Wyoming, Michigan. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who can keep shipping and dispatch activities organized, maintain steady workflow across the site, and help the team respond quickly to changing volume demands. The person in this role will work closely with local leadership to keep package movement, route coordination, and on-site execution running efficiently while promoting a safe and accountable work environment. 100% onsite.</p><p><br></p><p>Full-Time Hub Leader:</p><ul><li>There are 2 weekly shifts: Sunday - Wednesday and Wednesday - Saturday</li><li>These are 4, 10 hour days with a 30-minute lunch included</li><li>5a-330p and 7a-530p (local time)</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee day-to-day activity at the hub to ensure dispatch, pickup coordination, and route execution stay on schedule.</p><p>• Guide a team of 5 to 10 dispatch staff by setting priorities, redistributing work as needed, and maintaining operational flow during each shift.</p><p>• Step in to address attendance gaps or shifting workload demands so service levels remain consistent.</p><p>• Monitor package volume and operational output, then communicate performance updates and key metrics to leadership.</p><p>• Provide hands-on coaching to dispatch personnel, helping them improve decision-making, exception management, and daily execution.</p><p>• Lead routine safety discussions and reinforce required operational standards and policy compliance across the site.</p><p>• Identify and elevate concerns related to staffing, equipment availability, or unexpected shipment volume to the appropriate manager.</p><p>• Maintain an active presence on the floor and in the yard to support real-time problem solving and smooth movement of freight.</p>
