<p>SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:</p><p>The Senior Financial Analyst role reports directly to the CFO and will have frequent interaction with the CEO and others in the department and throughout the company. The individual will maintain our general ledger and help drive continuous improvements in our financial close and reporting processes.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a remote position with occasional days in the Colorado Springs office. Initially, the position may be required to work from the Colorado Springs office.</p><p><br></p><p>MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><p>• Leads the monthly accounting close process, including preparing and recording asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries, preparing financial statements and supporting schedules, and compiling and analyzing account information.</p><p>• In coordination with the Assistant Controller, maintains and balances accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies; analyzes revenue and expenses to endure these are recorded properly; performs monthly reconciliations.</p><p>• Summarizes and reports financial status to management by collecting information; prepares balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.</p><p>• Calculates monthly sales commissions based on monthly sales transactions by country, region and sales rep. Provides final commissions for review, approval, and payment through payroll.</p><p>• Drives the implementation of Everstage, a sales commission system.</p><p>• Maintains fixed asset records.</p><p>• Supports and participates in the annual budget process and forecast process.</p><p>• Supports external audits by preparing schedules, analysis, and providing other information as needed.</p><p>• Complies with all legal requirements.</p><p>• Manages and maintains the CPM platform Prophix for financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting.</p><p>• Meets with Department Managers to review monthly financial reporting and actual-to-budget variance analysis.</p><p>• Performs ad hoc analysis and other projects and duties as required.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:</p><p>• Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance</p><p>• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Financial Analysis</p><p>• Strong understanding of accounting and US GAAP</p><p>• Highly detail-oriented, accurate, organized, and deadline-driven</p><p>• High proficiency in Excel; proficiency in other MS Office applications</p><p>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</p><p>• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees in various departments to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results.</p><p>• Ability to multi-task and work independently while meeting deadlines and handle changing priorities</p><p>• Working knowledge of internal controls</p><p>• High degree of ethics</p><p>• Maintain confidentiality of organization’s information</p><p>• Willingness to take on new challenges, think critically and solve problems independently</p><p>• Experience with a major ERP system, preferably MS Dynamics BC</p><p>• Professional designation (CPA or CMA) or pursuing designation is recommended but not required.</p>
