<p>Water Law Attorney</p><p><br></p><p>Our client, a leading Rocky Mountain law firm in Colorado is seeking a 4 plus years experienced Water Law Attorney to support their environmental practice. The Water law Attorney should have handled a busy caseload of water, civil litigation, environmental. and compliance matters for their clients. The ideal water law attorney would have 4 plus years of experience with Colorado water courts and/or federal court litigation, administrative hearings, and they should have experience with managing case strategy. The water law attorney should have a motions practice, discovery hands on experience, and experience with cases from start through trial. Experience with Colorado water rights transactions, including purchase and sale of water rights, title review, due diligence and drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements.</p><p>Associated real estate and land use laws, including easements.</p><p>Experience with State and federal regulation of air, water quality, hazardous waste, mining, and oil and gas, and handling complex environmental litigation (both civil and administrative) is required for this position. <p>Legal Assistant</p><p><br></p><p>Our client, leading Rocky Mountain law firm is seeking a 3 plus years real estate legal secretary for their fast growing and dynamic office in Denver. In coordination with the Real Estate and Transactional Practice Group Legal Team, this position will provide advanced legal and administrative support to attorneys, paralegals, peers and other colleagues as needed and requested. Duties may vary based upon location and practice group.</p><p>Essential Duties/Responsibilities:</p><p>Manages the business intake process – runs adversary searches, drafts screening memos and engagement letters and opens new files.</p><p>Assist with real estate documentation, title & survey, and process real estate contracts, namely sale and purchase agreements. </p><p>Prepares, revises and formats legal documents and correspondence using various software applications and according to instructions; proofreads documents/correspondence for content, spelling, grammar, language usage and punctuation and puts into final form.</p><p>Supports client activities and provides direct contact client assistance and support.</p><p>3 plus years of real estate legal secretarial experience at a law firm is required to be successful in this position.
