The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting processes and demonstrate strong attention to detail while supporting compliance and organizational goals.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare and review journal entries and conduct detailed general ledger analysis.<br>• Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and investment portfolios.<br>• Manage month-end closing procedures, ensuring accuracy in account reconciliations.<br>• Serve as a backup for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.<br>• Oversee capital asset management, including tracking depreciation, additions, disposals, and reporting.<br>• Ensure compliance with prevailing wage requirements by coordinating certified payroll submissions and updating wage rates.<br>• Assist in creating monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and projections.<br>• Contribute to quarterly organizational reporting and compliance with solid waste management plans.<br>• Develop presentation materials for board and committee meetings, including audit packets and financial reports.<br>• Support grant writing initiatives and periodic reporting as required by grantors.
