We are looking for an experienced IT Network Firewall Migration Consultant to join our team on a 2-month contract basis. This remote opportunity involves planning and executing a seamless migration of firewall infrastructure while ensuring optimal network security and performance. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in SonicWall NSA5600, Fortinet firewalls, and advanced network architecture, coupled with a strong ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Design and implement a comprehensive strategy for migrating legacy firewalls to a modernized setup, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.<br>• Deploy, configure, and optimize SonicWall NSA5600 and Fortinet firewalls to meet stringent security and performance objectives.<br>• Assess the current network architecture, propose enhancements, and integrate new firewalls into the existing infrastructure.<br>• Conduct rigorous testing of firewall configurations, rules, and policies to ensure security, compliance, and functionality.<br>• Document the entire migration process, including configurations and network diagrams, and provide knowledge transfer to the internal IT team.<br>• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues encountered during the migration to maintain high availability and security.<br>• Ensure all network configurations align with industry standards and organizational security policies.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address specific network security needs and objectives.<br>• Provide ongoing support and expertise to ensure the smooth operation of network services post-migration.
