<p><strong>PHP Developer</strong></p><p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>PHP Developer</strong> to support a platform transition and help build out new PHP-based applications using the JetBrains ecosystem. <p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p>We are seeking a highly skilled <strong>Senior Middleware Engineer</strong> to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering reliable infrastructure support for web application solutions and maintaining a stable, scalable middleware environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with development, server, and database teams to leverage technologies such as ColdFusion, Docker, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, Red Hat, and VMware.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Full-time onsite in Washington, DC; later shift ending between 5 PM and 7 PM daily.</li><li>Participate in 24x7 on-call escalation rotation every 2–3 months.</li><li>Support existing middleware infrastructure, troubleshoot incidents and outages, and improve performance and efficiency.</li><li>Serve as escalation point for middleware issues and provide guidance for complex production or system problems.</li><li>Assist application teams with troubleshooting application outages.</li><li>Act as subject matter expert for middleware architecture improvements and outage resolution.</li><li>Monitor OEM middleware patching and upgrade recommendations.</li><li>Execute processes for middleware maintenance, including load balancing, tuning, and configuration management.</li><li>Implement and maintain consistent middleware parameters and system settings across environments.</li><li>Administer middleware management tools and patch middleware software per established lifecycle.</li><li>Provide hosting operations and engineering support for web middleware components.</li><li>Deliver training as required.</li></ul>
