Operations Processor
<p>We are looking for a detail-focused <strong>Operations Specialist</strong> to join a banking operations team in Wilmington, Delaware. This Long-term Contract position supports deposit operations by managing exception-related items, processing documentation, and helping ensure operational records are accurate and complete. The role is well suited for someone who works carefully in a structured environment, is comfortable handling repetitive tasks, and can keep multiple workflows moving efficiently.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>• Manage exception cases within deposit operations, ensuring each item is reviewed, updated, and advanced through the appropriate processing steps.</p><p>• Process paper-based and manual documents with a high degree of accuracy, confirming records are complete and properly stored.</p><p>• Maintain organized operational files and tracking materials to support audit readiness, compliance needs, and day-to-day processing.</p><p>• Coordinate the progress of claims, decisions, and related exception items from initial intake through final completion.</p><p>• Review items nearing completion to verify timely resolution, proper documentation, and adherence to internal procedures.</p><p>• Use Microsoft Excel and other Office tools to update logs, monitor workflow activity, and prepare routine status information.</p><p>• Work with internal business partners to resolve discrepancies, obtain missing details, and keep operational activity moving without unnecessary delays.</p><p>• Escalate issues such as incomplete information, aging items, or processing bottlenecks when further review or intervention is needed.</p><p>• Provide administrative and back-office support for a banking operations function while following established service and control standards.</p>
• At least 3 years of experience in banking operations, deposit operations, or a comparable financial services environment.<br>• Demonstrated ability to work accurately with high-volume paperwork and manual processing tasks.<br>• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain orderly records and documentation.<br>• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel for tracking and reporting purposes.<br>• Ability to manage multiple work items within a structured, process-driven operations setting.<br>• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate productively with internal teams.<br>• Experience with exception handling, claims support, account resolution, or other back-office banking activities is preferred.<br>• Familiarity with operational risk awareness and financial processing environments is a plus.
