Robert Half Management Resources is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join one of our clients on an interim basis. This role requires strong expertise in General Ledger operations, consumer loan reconciliations, and the ability to handle complex financial data. As a key contributor, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with U.S. accounting standards. Responsibilities:• Oversee daily and monthly General Ledger activities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries and reconciliations.• Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly financial close processes and reporting.• Analyze and interpret financial statements, providing insights and supporting documentation.• Conduct detailed reconciliations of consumer loan portfolios to ensure data accuracy and integrity.• Manage high-volume account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies efficiently.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as AR/AP and FP& A, to maintain compliance and accuracy in reporting.• Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.• Perform variance analysis to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to management.• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations and enhance internal controls.• Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed to support organizational goals.

• Extensive experience in senior-level accounting roles, ideally within financial services or consumer lending industries. • Proficiency in General Ledger operations, account reconciliation, and financial analysis. • Proven ability to work with large data sets and reconcile high-volume or complex accounts. • Strong knowledge of U.S. accounting standards and compliance requirements. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently. • Familiarity with NetSuite or similar financial systems is highly preferred. • Analytical mindset with a focus on detail and problem-solving. • Availability to work on-site or in a hybrid arrangement as needed.
