Robert Half Management Resources is looking for a Senior Accountant to join one of our clients on a contract basis for a 3–4-month engagement. This position involves working with a leading consumer loan provider and requires expertise in general ledger accounting, consumer loan reconciliations, and managing large data sets. Based in West Valley, Utah, this role offers an opportunity to contribute to critical financial operations and reporting processes. Responsibilities:• Oversee daily and monthly general ledger activities, including complex journal entries and reconciliations.• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial close processes and reporting.• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and related documentation.• Conduct detailed reconciliations for consumer loan portfolios to maintain transaction integrity.• Collaborate across departments to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial results.• Support audit processes by preparing schedules and providing responses to inquiries.• Perform variance analysis to identify trends and offer actionable insights.• Manage high-volume accounts by resolving discrepancies using advanced analytical techniques.• Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and strengthen internal controls.• Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and project support as required.

• Extensive experience in senior-level accounting roles, preferably in financial services or consumer lending. • Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and consumer loan reconciliation. • Proven ability to handle large data sets and reconcile complex accounts. • Excellent analytical and communication skills with a collaborative approach. • Familiarity with NetSuite software is highly preferred. • Proficiency in month-end close procedures, journal entries, and financial analysis. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Availability for on-site or hybrid work in West Valley, Utah.
