We are looking for an ERP Applications Programmer/Developer - Lv2 to support enterprise application development and configuration efforts in Wayzata, Minnesota. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for a software developer who can translate business and technical needs into reliable ERP solutions while working effectively both independently and with cross-functional teams. The role focuses on application configuration, technical documentation, issue resolution, and collaboration with stakeholders to deliver well-designed, supportable systems.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Build, configure, test, implement, and maintain ERP application components in alignment with project objectives and technical standards.<br>• Partner with end users, business analysts, and systems analysts to clarify requirements and shape practical solution designs.<br>• Produce clear technical design materials, detailed specifications, and operational documentation to support development and ongoing system use.<br>• Investigate application defects and test failures, then apply timely fixes to restore expected functionality.<br>• Follow established coding practices, naming standards, and program guidelines to ensure consistency across deliverables.<br>• Participate in peer reviews of configuration and code, incorporating feedback and making required updates.<br>• Comply with formal change control procedures when introducing enhancements, fixes, or configuration updates.<br>• Create and revise process documentation, support materials, and procedural guides for applications and related operations.<br>• Provide technical guidance to colleagues by explaining detailed specifications and recommending appropriate configuration approaches.
• Experience developing and enhancing ERP applications based on defined business and technical specifications.<br>• Proficiency in application configuration, technical design documentation, and preparation of detailed system specifications.<br>• Hands-on ability to troubleshoot application issues, resolve testing defects, and support quality validation activities.<br>• Familiarity with code review practices, configuration management, and structured change management processes.<br>• Working knowledge of ERP solutions, including SAP R/3 or comparable enterprise platforms.<br>• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders to support requirement gathering and solution planning.<br>• Strong understanding of development standards, naming conventions, and documentation best practices.<br>• Experience creating operational procedures, technical documentation, and support artifacts for enterprise applications.
