Receptionist
We are looking for a detail-oriented and personable Receptionist to support front-desk operations in Washington, District of Columbia. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming experience, managing a steady flow of calls, and keeping daily office communication organized. The role requires strong phone etiquette, attention to detail, and the ability to assist visitors and callers efficiently in both English and Spanish.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Welcome visitors warmly and serve as the first point of contact for the office.<br>• Manage a multi-line phone system by answering, routing, and screening incoming calls accurately and promptly.<br>• Handle front-desk activities such as receiving inquiries, directing guests, and maintaining an orderly reception area.<br>• Communicate clearly with callers and visitors in Spanish and English when needed.<br>• Take and relay messages to the appropriate team members while ensuring timely follow-up.<br>• Support part-time reception coverage needs and maintain dependable front-office presence during scheduled hours.
• At least 2 years of experience in a receptionist or front-desk support role.<br>• Demonstrated ability to operate a multi-line switchboard or phone system with up to 10 lines.<br>• Experience handling a high volume of inbound calls with professionalism and accuracy.<br>• Strong verbal communication skills and a courteous, service-focused approach.<br>• Bilingual Spanish language skills are required or strongly preferred for daily communication needs.<br>• Ability to stay organized, multitask effectively, and remain composed in a busy office setting.
