<p>Endpoint Engineer – Intune / Security / Enterprise Platforms</p><p>Location: Washington, DC</p><p>Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust</p><p><br></p><p>Position Overview</p><p>We are seeking a highly experienced Endpoint Engineer to lead enterprise endpoint operations, security, and modernization initiatives within a regulated environment. This role provides technical leadership across endpoint lifecycle management, policy governance, and cloud-based endpoint solutions.</p><p><br></p><p>The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Microsoft Intune, Windows endpoint management, security compliance, and automation, along with experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical environments. This individual will also mentor technical teams, drive modernization efforts, and ensure audit-ready operations aligned with federal compliance standards.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>Endpoint Lifecycle &amp; Platform Operations</p><ul><li>Lead full lifecycle management of enterprise endpoints (Windows, virtual, and mobile devices)</li><li>Oversee provisioning, configuration, deployment, and decommissioning activities</li><li>Manage enterprise application packaging, deployment, and maintenance</li><li>Validate endpoint configurations in pre-production environments</li></ul><p>Security, Compliance &amp; Governance</p><ul><li>Define and enforce endpoint baselines, compliance policies, and security controls</li><li>Lead patching and vulnerability remediation efforts</li><li>Maintain documentation, SOPs, and architecture artifacts for audit readiness</li><li>Ensure adherence to zero-trust and regulatory compliance standards</li></ul><p>Intune Engineering &amp; Automation</p><ul><li>Serve as SME for Microsoft Intune (policies, compliance, and application delivery)</li><li>Lead Autopilot onboarding workflows and endpoint provisioning strategies</li><li>Develop PowerShell automation solutions to improve efficiency and scalability</li><li>Integrate endpoint processes with enterprise tools and reporting systems</li></ul><p>Incident Resolution &amp; Service Improvement</p><ul><li>Lead troubleshooting of complex issues such as Autopilot failures, compliance anomalies, and policy conflicts</li><li>Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and service desk teams</li><li>Mentor engineers and provide technical oversight to improve service delivery</li><li>Drive continuous improvement through metrics, reporting, and SLA tracking</li></ul>

<p>Required Qualifications</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field</li><li>7-10 years of experience in endpoint engineering / management</li><li>Deep expertise with Microsoft Intune and Windows endpoint administration</li><li>Experience managing multi-platform environments (Windows + mobile/Apple)</li><li>Strong experience in endpoint security, compliance, and lifecycle management</li><li>Hands-on experience with Autopilot, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and PowerShell</li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance</li></ul><p>•Preferred Qualifications</p><ul><li>Experience supporting federal IT environments (FISMA, NIST, zero trust)</li><li>Experience with co-management / migration from legacy tools to Intune</li><li>Strong knowledge of endpoint monitoring, reporting, and analytics dashboards</li><li>Certifications such as:</li><li>Microsoft Endpoint Administrator (MD-102)</li><li>Microsoft Security Operations (SC-200)</li><li>ITIL Foundation</li></ul><p>Additional Details</p><ul><li>May require participation in on-call or surge support activities</li><li>Opportunity to lead enterprise-scale endpoint modernization initiatives</li></ul>
