<p>We are looking for an experienced Controller to provide financial leadership for a manufacturing environment in Virginia. This Long-term Contract position will focus on building clear performance measures that strengthen visibility across purchasing, inventory, production, and product costing. The ideal candidate will bring a practical approach to organizing financial information, translating operational activity into meaningful metrics, and supporting decision-making with accurate analysis.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Develop and maintain financial and operational measurements that improve visibility into purchasing activity, inventory performance, and production results</p><p>• Organize, consolidate, and summarize procurement-related data to support stronger reporting and more informed business decisions</p><p>• Establish meaningful metrics for material planning and inventory management, including tracking trends, exceptions, and improvement opportunities</p><p>• Partner with plant and operations leadership to create reporting that evaluates efficiency, throughput, and other key manufacturing performance indicators</p><p>• Provide cost of goods sold accounting support and help connect plant activity with accurate financial outcomes</p><p>• Analyze operational and financial data to identify gaps, improve controls, and support ongoing performance management</p><p>• Create structured documentation and reporting processes that ensure important records are captured, maintained, and easily accessible</p><p>• Support cross-functional teams by compiling information from multiple sources and presenting findings in a clear, actionable format</p>

• Prior experience serving as a Controller or Plant Controller within a manufacturing or industrial setting<br>• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory controls, and financial reporting tied to plant operations<br>• Demonstrated ability to build metrics, dashboards, or performance reporting for procurement, planning, and operations<br>• Experience organizing, compiling, and maintaining business documentation with a high level of accuracy<br>• Proficiency in document control, document scanning, and managing large volumes of operational or financial records<br>• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into practical recommendations<br>• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with finance, supply chain, and operations stakeholders
