<p>Robert Half is seeking an <strong>Application (Software) Developer</strong> for a higher education organization. This role will support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of business applications within a primarily Microsoft environment. The position will have an approximately 50/50 split between front-end application development and backend/data work, requiring someone comfortable working across the full application stack.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Develop, enhance, and support applications using .NET and C#.</li><li>Build and maintain front-end functionality using HTML, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.</li><li>Work with SQL to read and write queries and understand the tables, fields, and data supporting applications.</li><li>Develop and maintain Python scripts and support PowerShell integrations.</li><li>Support the development and enhancement of mobile applications.</li><li>Work with applications that integrate with Microsoft-based SSO and other internal systems.</li><li>Collaborate with multiple developers on application development projects and enhancements.</li><li>Troubleshoot existing applications and perform reverse engineering when documentation is limited.</li><li>Work through complex and evolving business requirements while partnering with technical and functional teams across the organization.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<ul><li>Strong hands-on .NET/C# development experience.</li><li>Experience with HTML, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.</li><li>Experience working with and/or developing Python scripts.</li><li>Experience with PowerShell integrations.</li><li>Mobile development experience.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of SQL, including reading and writing SQL code.</li><li>Understanding of how applications interact with underlying databases, tables, fields, and data.</li><li>Experience working within a primarily Microsoft environment.</li><li>Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.</li><li>Comfortable working with evolving requirements and limited documentation.</li></ul><p><strong>Nice-to-Have Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Additional PowerShell experience.</li><li>Experience with SSO, particularly within a Microsoft environment.</li><li>Experience with Azure or AWS.</li></ul>
