Warehouse Associate
We are looking for dependable Warehouse Associates to support daily distribution activities during a six-week Contract assignment in Stamford, Connecticut. In this role, you will work closely with the warehouse team to keep materials moving efficiently, maintain organized stock, and help ensure outgoing and incoming orders are handled accurately. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is comfortable in a fast-paced warehouse environment and ready to contribute from day one.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Receive incoming shipments, confirm quantities against packing documentation, and route materials to the appropriate storage or processing areas.<br>• Pick, pack, and prepare customer or internal orders with close attention to accuracy, labeling, and shipment readiness.<br>• Maintain inventory accuracy by updating stock records, identifying discrepancies, and supporting routine cycle counts.<br>• Move products safely throughout the facility using appropriate warehouse equipment and established handling procedures.<br>• Inspect packages and materials for damage or inconsistencies and report issues promptly to warehouse leadership.<br>• Keep workstations, shelving areas, and shipping zones clean, organized, and aligned with safety expectations.<br>• Assist with order fulfillment priorities during peak volume periods to help the team meet daily turnaround goals.
• Previous experience performing hands-on work in a warehouse, shipping, receiving, or distribution setting.<br>• Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift while working in an active warehouse environment.<br>• Familiarity with packing slips, shipment documentation, and basic inventory recordkeeping.<br>• Experience with order picking, order filling, and packaging processes with strong attention to detail.<br>• Comfortable using standard warehouse tools or equipment in a safe and efficient manner.<br>• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and the ability to follow instructions in a team-based setting.<br>• Capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment without sacrificing accuracy.
