Sr. Software Engineer
<p>We are looking for an experienced Sr. Software Engineer to help build and enhance business-critical applications for our Information Technology team. This is a hands-on development position requiring someone who can translate business needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in modern Microsoft development technologies and enjoys partnering with stakeholders while guiding engineering best practices across the team.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Lead the design, development, documentation, and validation of web applications, APIs, and background services using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and related technologies.</p><p>• Partner with business stakeholders to interpret functional needs, define technical approaches, and deliver application enhancements that improve usability and performance.</p><p>• Build responsive user experiences across devices using front-end frameworks and web technologies such as Angular, JavaScript, Blazor, and related tools.</p><p>• Develop, maintain, and optimize database objects and queries while supporting reliable data access and application performance.</p><p>• Strengthen software quality by implementing unit and integration testing practices and promoting disciplined engineering standards across the team.</p><p>• Provide technical leadership through architecture guidance, code reviews, and evaluation of solution options to support efficient and sustainable development decisions.</p><p>• Apply secure coding methods and ensure solutions align with established security expectations, policies, and risk reduction practices.</p><p>• Support user adoption by demonstrating completed solutions, gathering feedback, and assisting with training when needed.</p><p>• Mentor other engineers by sharing practical development knowledge, recommending learning resources, and encouraging continuous improvement within the group.</p>
<p>• 5+ years of software engineering experience</p><p>• Strong experience in C#, .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and MVC-based application design.</p><p>• Experience with modern front-end technologies such as Angular, JavaScript, Blazor, React.js, or Vue.js.</p><p>• Working knowledge of database development, including writing queries and maintaining data structures in relational database environments.</p><p>• Familiarity with testing practices, code quality standards, and secure software development principles.</p><p>• Ability to analyze business requirements, estimate effort, and convert needs into practical technical solutions.</p><p>• Experience using Azure DevOps and standard development tools to support source control, collaboration, and delivery workflows.</p><p>• Strong communication skills with the ability to mentor team members and work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.</p>
